My Favorite Things - Rock n Roll Marathon Series Giveaway, #RocknBlog 2016

Today kicks off my fourth favorite things giveaway and I am gifting you the Rock n Roll Marathon Series! I owe so much to this amazing organization. If it weren't for Rock n Roll, my blog wouldn't be where it is today.

Long before there was a Rock n Blogger program, Rock n Roll Marathon series was the first company to work with me as a blogger. I had only been blogging a short 6 months and had never run a half marathon when I reached out to them.....and they believed in me. Fast Forward to 3 years later, I have completed 5 full marathons and 13 half marathons. If it weren't for the partnership with Rock n Roll, I would have never fallen in love with the idea of Racecations (vacations themed around running events).

My favorite Rock n Roll Marathon Series event is without a doubt Rock n Roll New Orleans. It's a short trip for us (hour flight) and it gives us an excuse to visit our favorite city in the US. We ran this event for the second time in 2015 and will be back again for 2016 (the medal is of Jackson Square, where we got married).

We also did Rock n Roll DC in 2015 which was an amazing race, although our weather was not so great. It was awesome running through the Nations Capitol and being able to check out all the museums and sites post race. I would run this race again without second thought.
