Score free tickets to Gasparilla Music Festival by donating an old instrument

Do you have an old musical instrument laying around? If so, it can get you a free ticket to The Gasparilla Music Festival (“GMF”) through their  Recycled Tunes instrument drive. The program encourages the public to donate used instruments in exchange for tickets to the 2015 Music Festival taking place March 7-8, 2015.

You can donate your instrument this Saturday, February 14 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at The Kitchen in St. Petersburg (2216 1st Ave N. St. Pete). The instruments collected during the Recycled Tunes events will be refurbished by Don Banks Music in Tampa and will be given to the Hillsborough County and Pinellas County school systems.

For each instrument, the donor will receive one General Admission Weekend Pass to the Gasparilla Music Festival, valued at $60.

Tickets are $60 for a general admission weekend pass, $40 for Saturday only and $30 for Sunday only. All children ages 12 and younger are admitted for free which includes a special performance on Sunday, March 8 from the Disney Channel’s “Choo-Choo Soul” with Genevieve.

The festival takes at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N Ashley Dr, Tampa. For more information and a lineup of musical acts, visit http://gasparillamusic.com.
