Earlier in the year, I was invited to try out Apera Athletics Bags. You can read all about my review of the Apera duffle bag here. I instantly fell in love with this brand.....so much that I purchased a second bag, their sports duffle. What makes this company different from others is that they have built-in antimicrobial product protection to inhibit the growth of bacterial odors. So if you are at the gym or backpacking overseas, there are pockets to separate your dirty clothes from your clean clothing. Plus, the only way into the bag is through the zipper which is against your back - no need to be concerned about pick pockets!
When Gabe and I honeymooned in Europe a few months ago, both of my Apera bags came with us. Also, I have to state - when I selected my two bags, I got the pearl white color vs. pink. In any normal circumstance, I pick pink everything. However, I didn't want to be the only one carrying these bags overseas! We brought two rolling suitcases, stuffed the sports duffle in one to bring back souvenirs and had the duffle bag as a carry on.
So for the 9th day in my 12 days of giveaways, I am giving one reader a sports duffle of their own, winners choice of color. I cannot express how much we love these bags. I only bring out my suitcase if we are traveling for more than a weekend. In the past year, our Apera bags have been to New Orleans, New York, Maine, Miami, Italy, France and London. They are well traveled bags who show no sign of wear or tear!
Some great features about this bag:
Top pocket for electronics or eyeware
Large vented pockets on each side, perfect for shoes
Waterproof front panel
Rear zipper which opens like a standard duffle bag
