Our friends at runDisney are at it once again! Another race weekend challenge has been formed, this time, officially creating a Pixie Dust Challenge during Tinker Bell Half Marathon weekend. There were some upset people this year after the Tinkerbell 10K was created without a challenge during the 2014 Tinkerbell Half Marathon weekend. I knew it was only a matter of time.
The Pixie Dust Challenge will take place on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 at Disneyland® Resort. Two days of spectacular runs in the ultimate pixie adventure that combines the 13.1-mile Tinker Bell Half Marathon PLUS the 6.2-mile Tinker Bell 10K. Peter Pan, the Lost Boys and Fairies will cheer you on all weekend long as you make your runs through Neverland and the amazing Disneyland® Resort and along the historic and charming streets of Anaheim.
When you complete both races within the pace requirements, you will bring home three medals, including the Inaugural Pixie Dust Challenge Medal (in addition to the Tinker Bell Half Marathon and Tinker Bell 10K medals). Registration for the Pixie Dust Challenge is required to receive the Pixie Dust Challenge Medal.
