How Keurig #BrewOverIce gets me through the day with Iced Coffee and Iced Tea

I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser. I am also participating in a contest as an additional aspect of this campaign.

To say we have a strong relationship with our Keurig machines (yes plural) is an understatement. I work from home 4 days a week and the majority of those 4 days start and end with conference calls. I have to stay alert and focused throughout the day. While I drink mostly water during the day, I must admit that I could not make it without my daily coffee and iced tea.
Instead of beginning with how my day starts, I will begin with how I start to unwind. I am not running as much these days but I stay hydrated for those non-humid, non-rainy days when I feel like hitting the pavement. When I saw Keurig was making Vitamin Burst K-Cups which you brew over ice, I knew we had to give it a try. This beverage has become my go-to afternoon drink of choice. It's full of Vitamin C and isn't too sweet, which I find to be a problem with other vitamin packed beverages.
At lunch, I almost always drink Iced Tea. The problem in my household is I prefer unsweet and Gabe prefers sweet tea. Keurig brew over ice makes a wide variety of teas and the days of having two gallons of tea taking up room in our fridge are long gone.
Finally, my day always begins with my Keurig. We recently got a new machine called The Rivo which allows you to make cappuccino and latte's using specialty Rivo K-Cups. This was by far the best item we purchased in 2013. The best part of this machine is that it uses fresh milk and has a iced latte option. We get a perfect drink every time. I was skeptical the first time I made a Iced Latte but after first sip, I became a believer of this machine. In the past 6 months of owning the Rivo, 2 of our friends bought a machine for themselves or as gifts. Regardless of the model, a Keurig would make any recipient happy - and would make for the perfect Fathers Day gift!
I love that Walmart in Tampa has a wide variety of K-Cups. It's even more convenient that there is an entire Keurig area in the center of our store! I am always amazed as to how many different flavors and options there are out there.
If you are interested in learning more about Keurig Brew Over Ice, check out the video below, which shows how easy this is.

Did you know Keurig has it’s own recycling program for use with K-Cups? The Grounds To Grow program offers a way for K-Cup users to return used cups for processing that separates grounds for compost and plastics for re-use. Learn more about this program here!

  1. We have 2 Keurig brewers too! I am an unsweetened gal, and the other half loves his sugar (like you) so Brew Over Ice is great for us! #Client

  2. I didn't know about the Rivo...that sounds very cool! And I am SOOO with you on not having 2 gallons of tea in the fridge. We just had to pull out our 1 gallon to make room for groceries (seriously, we couldn't get everything in the fridge, so something had to go). I need to learn from you and just go with the individual cups of tea by brewing over ice in the Keurig.#client

  3. We have 2 Keurigs (one at home and one in our tent trailer). The Rivo sounds amazing! I love the variety of K-Cups that Keurig offers and their recycling program. I definitely need to head to the store and check out the new variety of K-cups for the Keurig. Thanks for sharing. #client
