This week is all about our favorite city - New Orleans! Gabe and I are leaving on Friday for NOLA so I am apologizing in advance for the big easy taking over my Instagram feed! This is a dual purpose trip - it's my birthday weekend and we are going to finalize a few wedding details. This will likely be our last visit to the big easy before the wedding. We're booked at the
Hyatt French Quarter which is ironically the very first place I stayed in NOLA for the 2010 Sugar Bowl. It wasn't a Hyatt at the time but clearly remember loving the location of this property. We have a very fun yet busy weekend ahead of us including the tasting for our rehearsal dinner at
Tableau.

There are some great changes to the
2015 Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Marathon & ½ Marathon event. After the 2014 event, all race participants received a survey - and they implemented some improvements to make everyone happier runners.
Enhanced finish line festival with local food and
UNLIMITED BEER! After you cross the finish line you will be able to experience local cuisine while drinking all the beer you want at the beer garden. This is huge!
More on course entertainment! They're adding more on course entertainment to jazz up your run and keep you going! Rock out with live, local bands as you tour the scenic New Orleans route!
More porta potties! This is happy news for any runner. When you gotta geuax, you gotta geaux and long lines are never a pleasant site when the clock is ticking.
