STOMP - Jaw dropping excitement at the Straz Center, Tampa

On Wednesday night, we had the opportunity to see STOMP at the Straz Center in Tampa. This was my favorite live performance to date. The entire hour and a half my jaw was dropped, I was laughing and I had a huge smile on my face.

STOMP is a show perfect for audiences of all ages and if the traveling show happens to find its way to your city, I strongly suggest this as a date night or family outing. The show is an hour and a half without intermission. We were on the edge of our seats all night, waiting to see what happened next.

The STOMP cast entertained us without words. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments to create rhythm – matchboxes, wooden poles, newspapers, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps, water, sand, you name it. USA Today says, “STOMP finds beautiful noises in the strangest places.”.

STOMP will be at the Straz Center in Tampa through Saturday. Tickets from $49.50-69.50. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice and will increase based on demand.
