For those like me who like to display proud moments on their body, Milestones Sports Jewelry is the place to look. I was first introduced to them at one of the runDisney events and fell in love with their product. If you are a runner or athlete, they have something for you to display your accomplishments. Think of them as a Pandora bracelet, but instead of the memories they showcase, Milestones honors every finish line memory. Here are a few charms I am currently coveting.
Reflecting back on 2013, and without bragging at all, it is impossible for me to grasp the accomplishments I have had. On New Years weekend, my brother Aaron told me 2013 was going to be my year. I may have to pay him every year to make that statement here on out. January started shortly after me crossing my first half marathon finish line, which was a disaster. It was a horrible experience and I wanted to quit running. Yet this blog kept me going. I had a small following at the time but those who followed emailed me and gave very positive comments which forced me to push forward.
Next thing I knew, I had 5 half marathons under my belt by April 1st. I then signed up for the runDisney Dopey Challenge and knew I had to run a full marathon prior to. Somehow, someway, I got into the New York City Marathon by way of lottery. 2013 for me was my milestone year. Oh and I got engaged to my soul mate and am getting married in New Orleans! We cannot forget that huge milestone :)
