I recently had the opportunity to check out Flemings Prime Steakhouse new Taste the Season Menu. During my visit to Flemings, I met Flemings operating partner Mark Cline, who recently moved to Tampa from Orlando. Mark told us about the new innovative market driven menu that was created to showcase the best flavors each season has to offer. I am all about seasonal and fresh ingredients so I could not wait to check out this menu. This two-course meal is only $40.95 and I couldn't have been more impressed with it.
Through March 10th, you can enjoy this menu featuring high quality ingredients with winter's most abundant flavors. You will find fresh bosc pears, heirloom carrots, Meyer lemons and of course a Delmonico steak worth running 10 miles for.
2-COURSES, JUST $40.95 Available for a limited time until March 10th
FIRST COURSE - Lemon Ricotta Crostini with Fresh Pear Slices
This was a stunning starter dish. One that I would honestlly eat for either an appetizer or dessert. The ricotta was made in house and laced with lemon zest, placed on a garlic herb
crostini and topped with fresh sliced winter bosc pear, Meyer lemon honey
and fresh orange zest. It was so fresh, light and unexpected that I wanted to go back for more.
SECOND COURSE
Iron Seared Delmonico Steak
Hello Mr. Delmonico. You are my favorite steak to indulge in. Now you are being topped with a tangy béarnaise butter, spiced blue crab glaçage?! I think I love you! This steak was melt in your mouth spectacular and well worth every calorie. It was served with a crisp potato
cake, fresh heirloom carrots with lemon-garlic butter
So for $40.95 you get that amazing two course meal.
Flemings also has a seasonal featured dessert for only $7.95, the Almond Soufflé
This was amazing. It was a lightly frozen Amaretto soufflé, toasted almonds, cinnamon
graham cracker crust, fresh blueberry sauce, whipped cream
and cocoa nib. It was a light ending to our amazing dinner.
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse also has a new seasonal cocktail menu. This month's featured cocktail is the pomegranate and sage margarita. I did not get a chance to try it being I mentally stopped when I saw a Moscow Mule on the newly launched spirited cocktail menu (which was delicous!). I will be back to try this while it is on the menu though. It looks and sounds delicious made with Milagro Silver Tequila, pomegranate, fresh lime juice and fresh sage
Do yourself a favor and make it to Flemings before March 10th and try out this amazing seasonal menu. I cannot wait to see what the Spring pairing menu looks like!
Yum! And their molten chocolate lava cake is still on my "to-eat" list...I've got to make it there soon and try some of these dishes.
