For #SundaySupper, we are sharing our favorite savory and sweet treats. I struggled with this and initially wanted to do something with Red Velvet. This was until I saw the amazing lineup below and more Red Velvet recipes than my brain could handle. So I decided to make something Savory AND Sweet! My favorite thing in this world, Chocolate Covered Bacon.
I jumped on the Chocolate Covered Bacon bandwagon ages ago. My family and friends thought it was beyond gross, until they tried it. I have converted many non-believers of this snack. If you like chocolate and bacon, you will love this dessert and it is super easy to make.
Ingredients
Thick Cut Bacon
Bakers Chocolate Squares - Semi Sweet
White Chocolate - I used Godiva White Chocolate Vanilla Bean
Parchment Paper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375. Place bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet. Cook for 20 minutes (check to make sure it doesn't burn). Let cool.
Microwave semi sweet squares, I used 3, 30 seconds each round and stir. It took about 2 1/2 minutes for mine.
Using a pastry brush, paint the bacon with the semi-sweet chocolate.
Place on a paper plate and freeze for 5 minutes.
Microwave white chocolate, I used two squares. Since the Godiva was thinner than the bakers chocolate, this only took one minute. Splash the white chocolate over the dark chocolate.
Freeze for 5 minutes.
So easy and delicious. Chocolate Covered Bacon is the perfect savory & sweet treat. Now, check out what the rest of the #SundaySupper family is making this week! There are quite a few Valentines Day recipes for you to enjoy.

My husband keeps trying to convince me that chocolate and bacon work well together. I am not sure but then again looking at your photos does make me think that maybe I need to give it a try.
