Being a runner comes with it's highs and lows. High's - when you defeat a distance barrier or get a PR. Lows - loss of toenails, sidelining injury's and tight muscles. Recently, I have had issues with my calf muscles. I use my Marathon Stick every night. I take salt baths, ice baths, nothing gives me instant relief except smelly ointments such as icy hot.
I was introduced to Ateevia Botanica's natural pain relief ointment and couldn't have been more impressed with it.
At first glance and smell, I knew it was a natural product as promised. It has an earthy scent to it, much better than icy hot. Due to the lack of menthol smell, I had my doubts, only to be utterly shocked as to how great this cream is. The smell does not linger on your skin, so you don't have to worry about smelling like grass while at work. Plus it is non-greasy and really helps with pain.
According to Ateevia's website, Ateevia Botanica is a powerful biochemical storehouse of vital phytonutrients compelling in fighting inflammatory activity. Power-packed with essential anti-inflammatory nutrients, such as antioxidants, flavonoids, lignans (as well as oleic and linoleic acids), Ateevia uses Mother Nature’s own medicine to conquer inflammatory pain naturally and safely.
I have no idea what they are saying above, but it really works and it has my stamp of approval. Other than muscle pain, Ateevia Botanica can be used on Arthritis / Arthritic Joints, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (yay!), Tendinitis / Tennis Elbow, Plantar Fasciitis (double runner yay!), Bursitis, Sport Strains and Bruises, Back Pain / Muscle Aches.
Ateevia Botanica is $19.99 a tube and I feel it is worth every penny.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
This is good to know for when I can begin running again! Thanks for the recommendation.
